Yep — you heard that right. It’s not the most pleasant of topics, but it’s a really import- ant one. Whether potty problems are medical or behavioral, we cat owners have had to deal
with them at some point.
My late cat, Owen, had a horrible time with urinary crystals. He actually ended up in the veterinary
ER a couple of times because of it. But once we
found a special diet for cats with urinary issues, he
was just fine.
If litter box problems have got you down, we’ve
got great advice in this issue — top litter box misbehaviors, cats’ bathroom “habits” throughout the years,
diets for cats with urinary problems, no-fail litter box
cleaning tips and lots more. Tired of boring old litter
boxes? Check out the Feline Design column for some
stylish options. Wonder what your cat’s litter box etiquette is? Take our quiz! And if you’ve ever wondered
what your cats think of their litter boxes, our resident
feline writer, Stella, talks about upgrading.
As always, we’ve got great cat pics and stories from
our wonderful readers. Enjoy!
